Footscray house fire

Firefighters battled a house fire in Footscray this afternoon, March 18.

Five pumpers and 32 firefighters turned out to tackle the blaze in Droop Street.

Arriving on site, crews found smoke coming from the roof of the house. The blaze was also threatening neighbouring properties.

Police and ambulance officers also assisted.

The cause of the blaze is yet to be determined.
