Small Business Minister Philip Dalidakis has praised a Footscray co-working community during a recent visit.
Mr Dalidakis met the people behind The Idea Collective, a group of creative workers who share the space in the historic Footscray Mechanics’ Institute building.
He said the initiative shows local businesses are thriving and creating new, innovative job opportunities at Footscray.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and the Labor government is committed to providing them with ongoing business support services, encouraging them to grow and create more local jobs.”
