Police have arrested four teenagers, including a Yarraville girl, following a series of alleged assaults in Docklands and Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs.
Police executed search warrants at two properties in Windsor and Yarraville on Wednesday, February 21.
Three girls, a 15-year-old Yarraville girl and a 12-year-old and 14-year-old from Windsor, were arrested and cautioned for affray and unlawful assault.
A 15-year-old South Yarra girl was arrested and cautioned for allegedly possessing cannabis.
The charges follow a series of assaults which were investigated after videos were shared on social media.
A 29-year-old Benalla woman was allegedly assaulted at Southern Cross Railway Station about 8pm on December 1.
She sustained non-life-threatening injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
Another video was shared showing the group of teenage girls allegedly assaulting another teenager at the railway station.
Videos of similar assault incidents, believed to be in Melbourne’s southern suburbs, were also shared.
