Free RATs to cultural and linguistically diverse communities

Hobsons Bay council has been working with the Western Health Public Health Unit to supply free Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) to local groups that support cultural and linguistically diverse communities.

Council distributed 700 packs of the tests through the Civic Centre.

They provided 100 packs each to the Australian Islamic Centre, AIDA (an Indonesian Mosque at Altona North), Latitude, LCIS, Maltese Association of Hobsons Bay, St Stephens Williamstown, Pacific Island community and the Vietnamese Association in Hobsons Bay.

Information and training sessions have also been provided by Western Health.
