Sections of the West Gate Freeway will again close tonight to make way for maintenance works.
The freeway’s citybound outer lanes – which access the entry and exit ramps – between the M80 interchange and Williamstown Road, will be closed from 9pm tonight until 5am on Thursday, July 31.
The closure will allow crews to carry out works on the freeway’s electronic systems.
While the outer lanes of the freeway will be closed overnight, drivers will still be able to access the inner lanes and travel express to the West Gate Bridge.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead.
