Society’s relationship with the imaginary and ideal is the inspiration for the first solo exhibition by emerging West Footscray artist Renee Karacsay.
Her exhibition brings together a series of kaleidoscopic abstract expressionist works focusing on impulsive gestures, reflecting fleeting moments perceived in the world around her.
From the Hand is on show at Phoenix Gallery, located at Footscray’s Phoenix Youth Hub, until August 20.
