Applications are now open for a grants program aimed at getting more women and girls involved in sport.
The 2024-25 Change Our Game Community Activation Grants Program was launched on Wednesday by Community Sport Ros Spence, with grants of up to $10,000 on offer for community sport and recreation clubs to help boost female participation.
The funding is designed to help clubs create opportunities for women such as establish new female programs, hosting a women’s round and helping women take on club leadership roles.
Now in its eighth year, the Change Our Game program has provided more than $2.9 million towards 580 grants to sport and active recreation clubs and organisations across the state.
Applications for this year’s grants program close at 5pm on Wednesday, February 26.
