Spotswood’s Grazeland will be a hive of fun and food for young people this weekend.

Hobsons Bay Youth Services and Westside FReeZA are hosting a Youth Fest event for people aged between 12 and 25 from noon until 4pm on Saturday, September 10, with entertainment and live music among the afternoon’s activities.

Hobsons Bay council youth development officer Liam Cross said attendees can enter free by saying “Youth Fest” at the door and can also receive a $20 food voucher by completing a survey in the What Youth Want campaign, which aims to engage young people to help guide the planning of programs and services for young people.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone to Grazeland for this event, it’s going to be a really fun day,” he said.

“It’s also a great chance for young people to have a say in what they love about living in our city and what they think needs improving.”
