Ghosts and ghouls, wizards and witches and every creepy character in between will descend upon Yarraville village next week for the annual Halloween extravaganza.

Trick or treating will take over the village from 4-6pm Wednesday, October 31, with prizes and lollies galore, aided by sponsorship from Darrell Lea chocolates.

A live band and stilt walkers in front of the Sun Theatre will add to the festival air.

Village traders are expecting a bumper turnout after last year’s event attracted more than 600 costumed kids.
