Western Bulldogs AFLW ruck Celine Moody has balanced her work in the Australian Army with her work on the field for a number of years.
Working as an information systems technician within the Royal Australian Corps of Signals, she said her experience in balancing her two passions has been “nothing but positive”.
On Friday, August 19, Ms Moody joined Richmond Football Club culture and leadership coach Elisabeth Quinn, who serves in the Navy, Brisbane’s Kate Lutkins and Port Adelaide’s Maria Moloney, who both serve in the Royal Australian Air Force, to train with Deputy Prime Minister and Federal Defence Minister Richard Marles ahead of the 2022 AFLW season launch.
Mr Marles said Ms Quinn and the players were prime examples of balancing their careers with the Australian Defence Force with their other passions.
“The ADF is a supportive employer that balances the work and personal interests of its members,” he said.
