Kingsville kids to represent Victoria

Two Kingsville Primary School pupils are to represent Victoria in national championships in swimming and cross-country.

Twelve-year-old Bella Stringfellow (left) has been chosen to run in the Australian schools cross-country titles, which start at Moonee Valley racecourse and Albert Park on Friday.

The Williamstown Little Athletics Club member trains once a week under Eero Keranen at the Newport track.

Amelie Le Grand, 11, hopes to make a splash in the Pacific School Games to be held in Adelaide from November 20–27.

The talented all-rounder, who trains under Mark Deunk at Yarraville Swim Club, will be competing in breaststroke, backstroke, freestyle, and medley relays.
