As part of a series of warrants carried out at residential properties, police seized nearly 650 cannabis plants and about 10 kilograms of dried cannabis in suburbs such as Maidstone, Williamstown, Brooklyn and Braybrook.

A 60-year-old Brooklyn man was issued with a caution for possession of cannabis and two people in Tarneit and Point Cook are set to face charges.
