Major tram disruptions are set to take place next week, impacting those in the west.
From January 3-18, tram route 82 which goes through Footscray, Maribyrnong and Maidstone, will be affected when buses replace trams from Stop 19 Royal Children’s Hospital to Stop 59 Airport West terminus.
Mt Alexander Road will be closed in two sections: South Street to Mooltan Street (Ascot Vale) and Pascoe Vale Road to Ormond Road (Moonee Ponds)
Public Transport Victoria urges commuters to plan ahead, allow more time for your journey and consider alternatives during the works, especially if you’re travelling over the school holiday period.
