Police have arrested a man following the disturbance of two grave sites in Footscray in late January.
A 40-year-old Spotswood man has been arrested today and is expected to be charged with interfering with the corpse of a human being and criminal damage.
Maribyrnong police executed a warrant in Mary Street today, where they allegedly recovered what is believed to be the stolen partial human remains.
The man is currently being held in custody while investigation will continue and remains ongoing.
