A man has appeared in court charged with the shooting murder of Mohammed Haddara, a death that escalated a bloody feud between two crime families.
Homicide squad detectives charged a Brooklyn man, 36, with murder on Thursday morning.
Haddara was fatally shot in Altona North on June 20, 2009.
The manĀ appeared, via video link, before Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday afternoon and was remanded in custody.
