Maribyrnong libraries open their doors from Friday

Maribyrnong Libraries will reopen to the public on Friday for the first time since shutting down for Melbourne’s lengthy lockdown.

The libraries are strictly complying with the Victorian Government public health directions to protect everyone who comes through the doors so as to protect the health and safety of library visitors and staff.

Conditions of entry will include proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or eligible proof of exemption, checking in using the Service Victoria app and wearing a face mask.

People are asked to keep 1.5 metres from others and not to enter the library if unwell.

Capacity limits will apply

Anyone unable to enter the library for any reason can still access collections via Click & Collect.

Library programs and events will continue online until further notice.
