Maribyrnong residents urged to have say on council plan

Maribyrnong residents are urged to have their say on their city’s future direction.

Maribyrnong Council has created an online survey to help shape the council plan 2017-21, while feedback will also be gathered via ‘pop-up’ consultation stalls at events including Thursday’s Stony Creek Festival and Friday’s Quang Minh Tet Festival.

Suggestions to help to identify key priorities and make best use of council resources can also be made via Have Your Say postcards at more than 50 collection points. Workshops will be held 10am-noon February 11 at RecWest Braybrook, 6-8pm February 15 at VU at MetroWest and 10am-noon February 19 at Maribyrnong Community Centre.

Take the online survey at maribyrnong.engagementhq.com or reserve a workshop place at communityengagement@maribyrnong.vic.gov.au or on 9688 0200.

A draft will be put out for further comment in April and May.
