Williamstown has a new addition to the coaching line up, with a former Bulldogs and West Coast player joining as assistant coach.
Josh Hill will be in charge of the VFL men’s forwards in 2022. Hill played 173 AFL games for the Dogs and Eagles as a forward, and booted 226 goals over 10 seasons playing AFL.
Hill retired from AFL in 2017, after playing 107 games with the Eagles and 66 at the Bulldogs.
His appointment as assistant coach finalises the men’s coaching panel for 2022.
On the Seagulls website, Williamstown coaching director and fellow assistant Jeff Andrews said he was pleased to have Hill sign up as part of the coaching team, and was happy to have it finalised.
“Josh brings a wealth of knowledge and technical expertise to our forwards, being only a couple of years out of the game,” he said
“Josh played under two great AFL coaches in Rodney Eade and most recently Adam Simpson at the Eagles.”
