The Rotary Club of Yarraville has inducted a new board and committee for 2022-23, including incoming president Jebediah Annear.

The club hosted its annual changeover event on Sunday, July 3, which welcomed past presidents and past district governors.

Mr Annear said he hoped to help the club continue to progress.

“I’ve always heard from those who inspire me to reach for the stars,” he said.

“So this is what I do and every day, I reach a little higher.”

Mr Annear said the club would aim to include all members in their ongoing efforts.

“Thank you to all the club members for your time and effort to make this club punch above its weight and be part of some amazing events and engagements,” he said.

“At Rotary Yarraville, we believe all people hold visible and invisible qualities that inherently make them unique.

“We strive to create an inclusive culture where each person knows they are valued and belong.”

The 2022-23 board and committee inducted as part of the changeover was:

* President – Jebadiah Annear;

* Vice-President – Margaret Brett;

* Secretary – Wayne Hunter; and

* Treasurer – Sandra Maguire.

Mr Annear and outgoing club president Aaron Debuhr were also named as Paul Harris Fellows during the event.
