The Newport RSL Sub-Branch President has died following a long battle with cancer.
Robert (Bob) Gladysz died on the evening of Tuesday February 15.
In a statement on the Newport RSL Sub Branch, the 2020 Hobsons Bay Citizen of the Year finalist was remembered very fondly.
“His dedication, stewardship and vision toward the committee, members and the Newport RSL Sub Branch and the community will be forever missed, but never forgotten,” the statement said.
