Cats can get their photo taken with Santa Claus for a good cause in the lead-up to Christmas.
Cat Napping Cat Suburban Retreat at Spotswood is offering the service for a gold-coin donation to Pancare Foundation.
The not-for-profit foundation aims to increase survival and provide support to people affected by pancreatic cancer.
Cat Napping founder Ebony Centazzo said the photo event was in memory of her father Eddie, 75, who helped out with the cats until 20 days before his death.
“My dad lent me my start-up money six years ago to start the business and he died pretty suddenly last December, so all year I’ve been wanting to do a fundraiser for Pancare Foundation,” she said.
“People can donate to Pancare in dad’s honour as he was our handyman and loved all the cats and meeting all the customers.”
Photos of cats with Santa will be taken at Cat Napping Urban Retreat, 10/2 Burleigh Street, Spotswood, on November 23 from 5-8pm.
