Pedestrian killed

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Brooklyn that took place early morning Saturday 22 November.

It is understood a car struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Geelong Road and Docklands Highway about 4.30am.

The male pedestrian, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquires.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and an investigation is ongoing.
