Penguins pop up at Altona beach

Penguins are popping up all over Altona beach during lockdown.

The penguin sand sculptures are the creation of Melbourne Minor’s Kel Devoil.

“I’ve been making these with my kids on our daily walk at Altona beach to cheer up people who see them,” she said.

“Lockdown was getting us down and we thought it would be a fun way to lift all our spirits.

“We plan on making them all through lockdown.”
