Young people of the west are being urged to raise the roof when the Phoenix Youth Hub rises next week.

After months of being closed to restore the roof, the hub – formerly known as Phoenix Youth Centre – is returning with a special event for people aged 12 to 25 next Friday, June 24.

Phoenix Rising will kick off at 4pm with a fashion parade by the Social Studio, featuring young people from across the west and their fashion.

A photography exhibition will showcase the young perspective, while a dance party will keep the evening jumping until 7.30pm. Entry is free. Phoenix Youth Hub is at 72 Buckley Street, Footscray.
