Pitch ideas for a penny

Inner-west community groups are being invited to share in thousands of dollars as part of the annual Seddon Community Bank ‘Community Pitch’.

Running since 2015, the initiative has so far contributed more than $55,000 to a range of local community groups, projects and sporting clubs. As well as the funding boost, the project has also connected over 30 community groups and 30 local businesses.

Local community groups have the opportunity to ‘pitch’ a project to local businesses, which then decide which projects to support with a donation.

Inner West Community Enterprises, which  owns the Seddon Community Bank branch of the Bendigo Bank is looking for 18 community groups to present a 3 minute ‘pitch’ on the night of May 16.

Apply at www.iwce.com.au/community-pitch or go into the Seddon Community Bank Branch, 90 Charles St Seddon.

Applications close April 13.
