Police investigate spate of wheel thefts

Police are investigating a spate of vehicle crimes across Williamstown North, South and the Rifle Range Estate targeting personal belongings and wheels.

The Vehicle Crime Team has been re-established as a dedicated response to investigate vehicle related crime across Hobsons Bay and the Maribyrnong local government areas.

The team works closely with the Hobsons Bay Criminal Investigation Unit and is appealing for public support regarding the recent theft of wheels.

The community is reminded to lock their vehicles overnight and ensure personal possessions are removed.
