Hobsons Bay Crime Investigation Unit Detectives have been investigating a “suspicious” fire which tore through the Williamstown Ice Cream Shoppe on Friday, October 21.
A Fire Rescue Victoria spokesperson said they responded to the incident just after 2.15am on Friday, October 21 following multiple calls to Triple-0.
“Crews worked to evacuate the neighbouring residence and wearing breathing apparatus brought the fire under control in 25 minutes,” the spokesperson said.
“This fire has been deemed suspicious and the scene handed over to Victoria Police.”
