Police issue alert for Footscray flasher

Police are looking for a man who indecently exposed himself in front of a child and her mother in Footscray earlier this month.

Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have been told told the man exposed himself to a 6-year-old girl on Moore Street, Footscray about 3pm Saturday March 11.

The child alerted her mother, who had witnessed the man exposing himself to the child.

He then exposed himself twice more to the mother.

She managed to take a photo of the man as he fled.

Investigators have released the photo, as well as CCTV taken from a bus prior to the incident, of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone who has information about the incident or the man’s identity is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
