Police seek alleged Werribee-line flasher

Police have released CCTV footage and images of a man wanted for exposing himself to a woman on a train between Newport and Yarraville and two other women on New Year’s Day.

Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives Investigators have been told the man exposed himself three times on trains travelling along the Werribee and Sandringham lines between 8.30am and noon.

Police believe the man boarded the Sandringham line and travelled to the city, indecently exposing himself twice between Hampton and Southern Cross station.

He then boarded a Werribee bound train at Southern Cross station and got off at Newport.

He boarded another train back toward the city, indecently exposing himself a third time between Newport and Yarraville, where he got off the train.

The man is described as Caucasian, aged in his mid to late twenties, about 178cm tall with a medium build, auburn coloured hair and several days’ growth of facial hair.

He was wearing a light green long sleeved ‘grand-pa’ style top and dark blue coloured jeans.
