Police seek information on hit and run

Police are appealing for public assistance as they continue to investigate a hit-run in West Melbourne last month.

Emergency services were called to reports a car collided with a cyclist on Dynon Road, near the intersection of Lloyd Street, about 7.25pm on May 30.

The cyclist, a 33-year-old Maribyrnong woman, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the car did not stop at the scene and continued travelling north on Lloyd Street towards Arden Street.

The vehicle is believed to be a white SUV.

Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage around the time of the incident which may assist with their enquiries.
