Record fest in the inner west

The Inner West Record Fest will give music lovers the chance to browse through thousands of new and old records on Saturday, May 20.

On Saturday, May, 20, The Inner West Record Fest will be held in Footscray for one day only.

Melbourne Record Club and The Line are teaming up to bring music lovers a day browsing, buying and listening.

The free event is being held at venue The Line at 2 Yewers Street, Footscray, doors open at 11am- 4pm, venue runners recommend getting down early.

The day is a celebration of listening to music through old school vinyl, visitors will have the opportunity to browse a collection of Melbourne’s best vinyl sellers all under one roof.

There will be hundreds of crates filled with thousands of new and used records for visitors to dig through while listening to tunes all day long.

DJ Brett Wolfie will be playing in the lounge section of the venue on DJ Decks that have been transformed from a Vintage Blue Vespa.

Food and Beverages will be available from the team, there will be coffee and treats available next door at Harry and Larry’s General Store along with pizzas from Slice Girls West and more at Lickety Split.

This event is supported by Maribyrnong Council’s Love Your West Grants program.

The program provides financial and in-kind support to the community to activate the City’s public spaces, applicants can apply online.
