The Australian Red Cross Lifeblood organisation is bringing a pop-up blood donation centre to Williamstown for 11 days.
The pop-up donor centre will be located at Williamstown Town Hall at 104 Ferguson Street from Monday, June 19 to Friday, June 30.
Statistics from Red Cross show, one in three people in Williamstown require a blood donation during their lives.
Who without selfless locals spreading the word and donating , might not receive the blood required at the crucial moment.
Donors or those organising a Lifeblood team are required to book in an appointment time beforehand online, on the app or on 13 14 95.
Donors are encouraged to get in early to grab the best time suited to them so everyone can fit in.
The red cross team are encouraging locals to start their blood donating journey, if they are not already part of a Lifeblood Team, locals can easily join or start online.
Red Cross expressed its gratitude to community locals like those from Williamstown, who are saving lives by donating blood.
