Melbourne Renegades cricket club returns to Footscray this weekend for its popular free family fun day.
Captained by Aaron Finch, the T20 team featuring Xavier Doherty, Callum Ferguson and Cameron White, will take on the Victoria Premier All Stars in its last hit-out before the KFC T20 Big Bash League campaign begins.
The new women’s Big Bash League team will also be pulling on the pads.
The event at Merv Hughes Oval is sponsored by Maribyrnong council and Victoria University, and will include a kids’ cricket skill zone, autograph signing and sausage sizzle, along with a photo booth, face painting and an inflatable slide.
