WAGA is a partnership of seven councils to the west of Melbourne, including Maribyrnong and Hobsons Bay.

Their mission is to respond to climate change across the region and encourage residents and businesses in the community to transition to a low carbon society.

WAGA’s councils work collaboratively through the creation of plans and projects focussing on both mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions and adaptation to the impacts of climate change.
