Seaworks announces October program

Seaworks has announced a number of events to be held throughout October.

“We’re thrilled to announce that Seaworks has a jam-packed calendar of events lined up, with something exciting happening every weekend,” it said.

Pier Festival, Queer Music Extravaganza will run on Saturday, October 7.

Described as a musical voyage like no other, Seaworks said The Pier Festival is a fantastic queer music festival that will showcase both national and local artists and bands.

Out On The Weekend, Americana & Alt-Country Delights will be running on Saturday, October 14.

Seaworks warns visitors to prepare your taste buds for a day filled with incredible Americana and alt-country music, along with delicious eats and drinks.

Puppet Mayhem 2 is running as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival from Thursday, October 19 until Sunday, October 22.

Seaworks describes Puppet Mayhem 2 as weird and wonderful puppet mayhem as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival.

“These mischievous puppets from our very own A Blank Canvas are sure to cause mayhem in the most entertaining way possible.”

Williamstown Highland Celtic Festival is the final event at Seaworks for October, on Saturday, October 28.

“The sound of bagpipes and drums will fill the air at the Williamstown Highland Celtic Festival.

“It promises a fantastic day of dancing, pipe bands, heavy events, folk music, displays, clans, and market stalls.”
