Seddon supermarket robbery investigated

Police are investigating a robbery at a supermarket in Seddon on Sunday night.

Officers responded to reports of two males stealing items and making threats at a supermarket on Charles Street about 8.45pm on September 1.

It is believed the pair forced open an alcohol cabinet and stole several bottles of spirits.

Police were told one of the males threatened a shopkeeper by revealing a knife in his waistband.

The two offenders fled the scene on foot and were last spotted running along Perry Street in Yarraville.

No one was injured.

Both the males are described as being Caucasian in appearance, of slim build and aged in their late teens.

One of the males was wearing a white windcheater and grey trackpants.

The second male was wearing a black hoodie, black puffer vest and dark coloured pants.
