Sneak ‘peak’ at snow in Williamstown

There will be snow in Williamstown next month when Seaworks is transformed into a winter wonderland.

Minnie, age 4, last week got a sneak ‘peak’ of things to come when half a tonne of snow was trucked in to promote the event.

Seaworks, at 82 Nelson Place, will be turned in to a wintry haven on July 14 and 15 from 10am-3pm. There’ll be tonnes of snow, a giant ice slide, chairlift, climbing wall, snowboard rides, snowman-making and snowball-tossing.

The initiative by local parents, traders and Hobsons Bay council aims to attract visitors to Williamstown during winter and the July school holidays.
