Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have appealed for public assistance following the alleged theft of a trailer from a Tottenham business with about $120,000 worth of building equipment loaded onto it last month.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said offenders in a white utility and a white van allegedly got out of their vehicles and forced entry into a business on Sommerville Road, Tottenham, at about 4am on Tuesday, August 9.

“Police were told they attached a trailer to the utility and loaded it with two concrete grinders, worth around $120,000,“ the spokesperson said.

“They fled the scene in the two vehicles.

“Police have released images of two vehicles, a white utility with a black canopy on it and a white van with a poly pipe on the roof rack, believed to be involved in the incident.“
