Truck hits Napier Street bridge, trains delayed

A truck has hit the Napier Street rail bridge at Footscray this morning, causing road detours and train delays.

All outbound lanes of Napier Street are closed at Hyde Street.

Motorists are being advised to use Somerville Road or Hopkins Street as alternatives and allow extra time.

There are also delays on the Werribee and Williamstown train lines.
