Western Bulldogs young guns Easton Wood and Josh Dunkley dropped into Western Hospital last week to get patients back on their feet for the third annual WalkWest.
Organised by the Western Health Foundation, the free event offers a five-kilometre or 10-kilometre stroll along the Maribyrnong River on Sunday, starting at Doug Mills Reserve, Footscray.
More than 1000 people joined last year’s walk, which raises funds for Western Health to improve healthcare for children in the west.
You don’t have to be a fitness freak to take part, and there will be food, coffee, kids’ entertainment, warm-ups and a DJ in Footscray Park.
