Weekends events at the Bradmill Yarraville

The Yarraville community can join ‘Living Local’ events by Frasers Property on Saturdays throughout August.

Local businesses – including Cobb Lane Bakery, eco-friendly skincare brand LoveLuvo, chocolatier Coated, barbecued smoked meats food truck Maple Leaf Meats and the iconic Sun Theatre – will offer samples of their wares at the Bradmill Yarraville display suite.

Each retailer will have 200 product samples to give to display suite visitors on the five Saturdays in August.

Chocolatier Coated will offer visitors the chance to grab their own “pick and mix“ on August 3.

Seddon social enterprise eco-friendly skincare and homewares company LoveLuvo will provide samples on August 10.

Hip local bakery Cobb Lane will hand out handcrafted pastries on August 17.

Maple Leaf Meats will offer morsels of its smoked and barbecued meats on August 24.

The iconic Sun Theatre will provide choc-tops and popcorn on August 31.

Frasers Property Australia general manager development Victoria Sarah Bloom said the Living Local campaign was designed to show prospective buyers from outside the area just how deserving of the honour Yarraville was.

“People from the west already know why Yarraville is a gem, with its restaurants and cafes, art deco independent cinema, boutiques, bookstores and gift shops,“ Ms Bloom said.

“By bringing some of those fabulous small local businesses into our display suite, we can really show, and not just tell, people from across Melbourne the story of this neighbourhood,“ she said.
