Pet rescue day at West Footscray

Furry friends are being invited to flock to West Footscray this weekend for the Lucky Pet pet rescue day.

Lucky Pet store owner Jo Vraca said the day would feature pet adoptions courtesy of rescue group Paws & Tails, as well as a free bag of food and flea treatment for every pet adopted.

Pets can receive free dental checks and nail trimming courtesy of VetCall.

The day will include a fundraising sausage sizzle, hosted by Revolution, with all proceeds going to local pet rescues. Drop by PODatPID at 638 Barkly Street for free puppuccinos and the Bayer Experience Van will offer giveaways.

Loose Lead Pets trainers will be on-site to answer training questions and provide advice from 10am-3pm on Saturday, March 19, at Lucky Pet, 586 Barkly Street, West Footscray.
