Police are investigating a ram-raid on a tobacco shop in West Footscray.
It is understood a vehicle drove into the front of a tobacco shop on Essex Street about 3.50am on Thursday, June 19.
The vehicle then fled the scene in an unknown direction before police were able to arrive.
There was no one inside the premises at the time and at this stage it is unknown if anything was stolen.
The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
