West Gate Tunnel project will cause delays over the weekend

A lane will be closed on the West Gate Freeway heading into the weekend.

An inbound lane will be closed between Millers Road and Williamstown Road from 7pm Friday April 1 until 5am Monday April 4.

During this time the speed limit will be reduced to 40 kilometres per hour.

The lane will be closed so that a new section of pavement can be built, and to allow concrete to strengthen with minimal vibration.

Three lanes will remain open and there will be minor delays.
