Western United scores new partnership

INTIX, an independent sports ticketing platform headquartered in the west, has partnered with Western United Football Club.

This collaboration will see INTIX power all membership and ticketing operations for Western United at the brand-new Ironbark Fields in Tarneit.

INTIX serves over 170 sporting clients across Australia. The company’s location in Footscray makes it a natural fit for Western United FC.

Simon Gardner, general manager consumer business at Western United FC, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership.

“With our new stadium and a clear vision to build the future of football for the western region, partnering with a data-driven, fan-focused technology platform like INTIX is a game-changer,” he said.

“This is all about putting our fans at the front of our thinking. With INTIX’s innovative solutions, we anticipate significant streamlining of our sales and operations and the possibilities to greatly enhance our fan experience,” Mr Gardner continued.

“Having already experienced positive results working with INTIX on our corporate hospitality events, as well as our development program and VPL level games, we are thrilled to solidify this partnership and take it to the next level.”

Alex Grant, head of technology at INTIX, echoed the excitement.

“Being at the heart of Melbourne’s west, we are incredibly proud to partner with the region’s premier football club. This partnership underscores our commitment to supporting local sporting organisations while showcasing our rapidly growing global technology solutions,” he said.

“Our expanding client portfolio is consistently achieving sold-out events, significantly growing their marketing audiences, streamlining their internal processes, and enhancing fan engagement.”

INTIX’s purpose-built platform directly addresses the common challenges faced by sporting organisations by integrating eight key operational areas. This unified approach reduces costs, enhances the fan experience, and accelerates workflows, offering a significant advantage over managing multiple, often outdated, systems.

Beyond its strong focus on sports, INTIX’s flexible platform also successfully supports a diverse range of events, including music venues, festivals, and workshops.
