Williamstown’s annual Christmas night market is back again.

Hosted by the Williamstown Chamber of Commerce, the market will be held in Douglas Parade and Ferguson Street on December 9 from 6-9pm.

Organiser Richard Mills says that along with local stores offering Christmas products and activities, there will be appearances from Santa and his elves on a vintage fire truck, roving choristers, carousel rides and face- painters.

Santorini Greek restaurant will have a lamb spit, while the Hellenic Hotel will offer a special selection of desserts.

“The event is a great way to enjoy the village atmosphere in Williamstown, shop local and find some different and unique products you won’t find in the big shopping centres,” Mr Mills said.

“There’ll be a range of kids’ activities and giveaways as well as offerings for parents and people of all ages.”

“This is a unique opportunity to bring the community together, wander around the streets, enjoy a bit of entertainment and activity – a night to get into the spirit of Christmas.”
