Winter feast for climate change

Fig and Walnut's Vera Xanthis with Climate for Change's Katerina Gaita.

A winter feast to tempt the tastebuds will be held in Seddon on Wednesday to help raise funds to fight for the planet’s future.

Fig & Walnut cafe and food blog Consider the Sauce are teaming up to hold a night of food, drink and conversation in support of not-for-profit organisation Climate for Change.

The cafe will put on a climate-friendly winter vegan feast on July 19, complete with mulled wine, as Climate for Change director and Seddon local Katerina Gaita speaks about the organisation’s work and how everybody can play their part.

All profits will be donated to Climate for Change, an organisation on a mission to increase the number of people prepared to act on climate change.

The event will be held from 6pm at Fig & Walnut, 11-13 Bellairs Avenue Seddon.

Tickets cost $45 via www.trybooking.com/290203
