Police are hunting for a woman who crashed into a police car at high speed in Maribyrnong before fleeing on foot.
Police attempted to intercept the 2002 Holden Commodore station wagon in Raleigh Street, Maribyrnong about 11am.
Several attempts were made to intercept the vehicle, bearing suspended registration 1KT1GQ, but the driver refused to stop.
She sped off east on Raleigh Street and was sighted again a short time later in Chifley Drive.
Police Victoria leading senior constable Lea-Taylor Bolton said the woman drove at the police car at a high speed crashing into the car despite efforts by police at evasion.
The Holden fled east along Maribyrnong Road before being found dumped on the corner of Edgars Street and Eglington Street, Moonee Ponds.
Both vehicles suffered extensive damage, however the three police in the car at the time were uninjured.
Detectives would like to speak to any witnesses who were in the area at the time, or anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage.
