It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in Hobsons Bay.
Children are invited to wear their pyjamas for a special Christmas bedtime storytime at Altona library.
There’ll be stories, songs, carols and a surprise guest wearing a red suit. It will be on Monday, December 18, from 6-7pm.
A bush Christmas storytime will be held at Newport’s Paine Reserve on Thursday, December 21, from 10.30-11am.
Families are also being invited to local carols by candlelight events.
Carols will be held at Altona Meadow’s Trafalgar Reserve and Newport’s Substation on Saturday, December 16, from 7-9.30pm; at Williamstown’s Commonwealth Reserve on Sunday December 17, from 7-9.30pm; and at Laverton Community Hub on Tuesday, December 19, from 10.30am-12.30pm.
