ALTONA Gators can finally put a rough season behind them in the Big V basketball women’s division 1.
The young and developing Gators, many of whom were playing their first season out of the youth league, finished with the wooden spoon after a 79-47 loss to Sunbury on Sunday.
The Altona Gators’ men’s team finished sixth in the Terrill conference and 13th overall in division 1 after a final-round 102-88 defeat at the hands of Sunbury.
